DYSP Traffic Pulwama-Shopian Conduct Special Drives, 30 Motorcycles Seized

Pulwama, March 23: Traffic Police Pulwama-Shopian conducted special enforcement drives across various locations in Pulwama district, particularly focusing on accident-prone areas, under the supervision of the DySP Traffic Pulwama-Shopian Mushtaq Ahmad.
During the drives, around 30 motorcycles were seized and sent to different police stations and police posts across various towns for safe custody as part of safety measures, Traffic Police Officials told Morning Kashmir.

In addition, strict action was taken against traffic violators. As many as 15 motorcyclists found riding without helmets were penalised on the spot. Five riders were booked for triple riding, while 10 passenger vehicles were fined for carrying excess passengers.
The traffic authorities reiterated their commitment to ensuring road safety and urged commuters to strictly adhere to traffic rules to prevent accidents and save lives.
