PAMPORE, December 09: Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from society, a police party of Police Station Pampore, headed by SHO Pampore, Inspector Khalid Fayaz, while conducting naka checking duty at Kadlabal Pampore Chowk, intercepted a KUV 100 NXT K2 (Black) vehicle bearing registration number JK04F-4498.
The vehicle was boarded by the following two persons Jehangir Ahmad Dar, son of Abdul Rashid Dar, resident of Kandour Khansahab, Budgam (Driver) and Mushtaq Ahmad Dar, son of Abdul Razaq Dar, resident of Palpora, Budgam
During the search of the vehicle, police recovered 37.740 Kgms of poppy straw (Fuki). Both the accused persons were apprehended on the spot, and the vehicle used in the commission of the crime was seized.
Accordingly, FIR No. 127/2025 under sections 8/15 & 29 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Pampore, and further investigation has been initiated.
